DANNY WALSH
Qualifying as a class A PGA professional in 2007, Danny has since built up a strong reputation coaching players of all abilities. Junior coaching and encouraging participation in golf are key interests of his. Danny uses a holistic approach to enhance existing skills and improve the players knowledge of their own game. He aims to help players feel relaxed and able to ask questions, an open dialogue is key to his coaching success.
Danny offers tuition on all aspects of your game and uses video analysis and Trackman and Hackmotion technology in all his lessons as well as online feedback.
ANDY STOCKS
Andy has been a qualified professional for a number of years and has delivered golf to a large client base over his 11 year career within the golf industry.
Andy is a second generation professional working with leading coaches within the golf industry, also working closely with the Golf Foundation & England Golf to deliver successful programmes to adults and juniors that wish to take up the game along with American Golf Scholars aiming to break on to the PGA Tour.
JAMES MILLINGTON
Having built an impressive client base since progressing to the professional ranks, James is quickly establishing himself as one of the top young coaches within Yorkshire. Having worked with some of the most experienced and highly regarded coaches in England, James is aware of how the best coaches work, and is keen to implement this into his own coaching strategies.
As well as giving detailed and informative feedback to his players, James also adds a fun and enjoyable element to his coaching which he believes is key for improvement and will enable players to achieve their goals.
James has a great understanding of the game and a wealth of experience having spent a lot of time playing with some of the best players to come out of Sheffield who have gone on to play for their country, compete on the DP World Tour and in major championships.
NICK POPPLETON
Joining us in December 2025, Nick is a qualified PGA professional and ex touring professional. He has a wealth of knowledge in the game of golf, gained through being an elite amateur, which included winning the Brabazon Trophy. Then, going on to compete on the Challenge Tour and Europro tour with plenty of success and also qualifying for the Open Championship. After starting his family, he decided to focus on a career in coaching.
Nick can coach all aspects of the golf game, so if you need help with anything from putting to the driver, nick will be able to help!
FRANK HOULGATE
Frank is the head professional and owner of Waterfront Golf. He has a wealth of teaching experience and has coached all players from beginners to professionals competing on the DP World Tour.
Frank is a full swing specialist, but offers tuition on all aspects of your game and uses TRACKMAN 4 and video technology in all his lessons.
CHRIS DENNIS
Chris is a fully qualified PGA Professional and specializes in Putting and Aimpoint, and has been constantly learning the art of putting since qualifying in 2015. With experience teaching all levels, including lots of experience on the DP World Tour and the LET, you can be guaranteed to learn plenty when utilizing Chris' expertise.
Chris breaks down putting into Aim, Read & Speed and during sessions he will work to improve the main aspect that is holding you back on the course.
Our custom putting studio incorporates Capto putting lab and blast motion amongst many other training aids.
